More than fifty percent of our population live below poverty line, therefore livelihood security is the prime concern for these sections of people living in rural areas and proper healthcare is a luxury. As a result a large no. of people fall ill loss lives prematurely.

More than fifty percent of our population live below poverty line, therefore livelihood security is the prime concern for these sections of people living in rural areas and proper healthcare is a luxury. As a result a large no. of people fall ill loss lives prematurely.

In order to assist these unprivileged sections of the society NET during the year organized 08 nos. of Health Check-up cum Awareness Camps in rural pockets of Keonjahr district in which hundreds of poor patients were screened for various diseases, most of them treated with and some of the serious cases were referred to the District Medical. Three specialists along with a pharmacist and a nurse were made available in each of the camps. Along with the treatment the patients were educated about various diseases and its prevention measures through audio-visual shows, leaflets etc.
